It is both compact and lightweight despite its large f/1.7 brightness which creates a beautiful soft focus and makes your photos even more impressive. Comprising 7 lenses in 5 groups, the lens system uses 2 aspherical lenses to minimise distortion and chromatic aberrations (colour fringing), achieving high resolution corner to corner. The versatile 20mm focal distance (40mm in 35mm camera terms) is suitable for a wide variety of occasions from daily snapshots including sunsets and dimly lit indoor shots to the deliberately creative shots taking advantage of its 7 bladed circular aperture which offers a beautiful soft focus effect.
