Canon announce the release of the 60D

Canon have recently announced the launch of the latest product in their arsenal of Digital SLR cameras.  The Canon EOS 60D is due to be released later this month, although knowing Canon it will more than likely be an October release. 

Features:

• 18 MP APS-C CMOS sensor
• Advanced creative features
• Vari-angle 7.7cm (3.0”) 3:2 ratio LCD
• Full HD movies
• DIGIC 4
• ISO 100-6400, H:12800
• 5.3fps shooting for up to 58 JPEGs
• 9-point cross type AF System
• iFCL metering with 63-zone Dual-layer Sensor

The price is expected to be around the £1100 mark, but this will obviously differ between retailers. If you wanted a digital SLR but didnt want to spend that much, take a look at our range of Canon digital SLRs.

We've obviously not seen one yet so can't give you an opinion but will hopefully review one soon and give your our verdict.
